Travis Kelce Catches an NFL Game at Wembley Watching Taylor Swift Play There

Travis Kelce knows what it’s like to perform in front of a sold-out crowd at Wembley Stadium, but until last Sunday he had never experienced the darling of the audience, Taylor Swift.

Most recently chapter His New heights In the podcast, which aired on Wednesday, June 26, Travis, 34, and his brother Jason Kelce watched Swift, 34, “shred it” at Wembley Stadium during the London stop of her Eras tour.

The NFL bros traveled to England with friends and family to catch Swift’s shows, which ran for three nights from June 21 to June 23.

“It was pretty cool,” Travis said, adding that fans at Wembley Stadium were more alive for Swift’s performance than when he and the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Detroit Lions in 2015.

“Playing in front of 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium? I remember playing in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium in 2015 and then I saw Tae going crazy,” he continued. “They’re too loud for Taylor.”

Jason, 36, pointed out that fans at NFL games “cheer on all the players on the field” and “it’s not just one person on the stage.”

“It was really interesting,” Jason added. “Obviously Taylor is an amazing singer songwriter, but how long was she out there, three and a half hours, four hours?

“Yeah, 45 songs, bub,” Travis replied, handing Swift his props.

“Damn it. Yeah, man, if I did what she did for a song, I’d have to change my clothes,” Jason laughed.

“Crazy,” Travis agreed.

It was another memorable weekend for the superstar couple. At Sunday’s show, Travis made his Eras Tour debut, joining Swift onstage as a backup dancer during a costume change for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

During the transition, Kelce took Swift to a bed and had her freshen up before another dancer performed one last song. Department of Tortured Poets Part of the show.

“I’m still freaking out / swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut 😀 Never going to forget these shows,” Swift later wrote on Instagram.

“They loved being on stage together,” a source told PEOPLE this week. “He’s confident and funny, and that’s one of the highlights of his tour.”
