AMC is investigating after 4 girls were randomly stabbed inside a Massachusetts theater

BRAINTREE – Movie theater chain AMC later said it would conduct a “thorough review.” Four women An apparently punched while Random attack inside A Braintree Theatre.

Jared Ravisa26, is accused of carrying out the attack at AMC Braintree 10 on Saturday night. Ravissa entered the theater without paying and stabbed four young women who were in the theater for a screening of “IF,” police said.

Ravisa allegedly stabbed two people about an hour later at a McDonald’s in Plymouth. He was arrested following an accident in Sandwich.

The mother says AMC staff were initially unresponsive

Lisa Dembowski, the mother of three AMC stabbing victims, said staff did not initially take action after the girls reported the stabbing.

“They said they all went out, they told the people at AMC, and AMC didn’t believe them and did nothing, in fact, they had to call the police,” Dembowski said.

The AMC conducts a “comprehensive review”.

In a statement to WBZ-TV, AMC said it would personally reach out to the families involved.

“Across all of our locations, AMC has a number of security features and procedures in place, the specifics of which we do not publicly disclose or discuss,” a spokesperson said. “We have already begun a thorough review of the incident. Based on theater associate accounts and video footage, the theater team immediately jumped into action, calling emergency services and rendering aid to the victims.”

According to AMC, there will be a security reserve at the Braintree location “for the immediate future.”

Connecticut trial

Sources tell WBZ I-Team Ravisa is also being sought in connection with a homicide investigation in Deep River, Connecticut. A body was found there after a reported disturbance on Saturday afternoon.

Neighbors say two men and two dogs lived in the home. They believe the dogs are dead too. “It’s so sad. It’s surreal. I mean, it’s a human life,” said the Connecticut neighbor.

Ravisa is due in court on Tuesday, and Dembowski is awaiting justice. “I hope he gets what he deserves,” Dembowski said.
