This TerBlanche She left behind some animals — including some unique pets — when she died last week, which had to be collected by a third party … TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell Us that police were called to the “All My Children” star’s home last week after his assistant Esta went to his house after not hearing from her … overseas trip.
An assistant found Esta on the floor in her bathroom on Friday, called 911, and first responders rescued her. He died on the spot.
Now, the scene at Esta’s home involved animals — we’re told investigators found several pets, including 3 cats, 2 dogs and some prairie dogs!
Our sources say LA County’s Animal Control Division won’t take in prairie dogs — and as a result, police contacted a private animal rescue, which sent experts to collect all of Esta’s pets. What happened to the animals after that is not known.
As for Esta … police found no signs of foul play, and her death is being investigated as natural. They believe the 51-year-old actress died at least a few days before last Friday.
The LA Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy, and his cause of death is pending toxicology results.
Esta is actually a huge animal lover, as documented on her Instagram. He posted lots of photos and videos of animals found by investigators, and from the looks of it, they were pets.
