Australian police are investigating a paparazzo's allegations that she was assaulted by Taylor Swift's father.
Ben McDonald, 51, accused Scott Swift, 71, of punching him in the face on Sydney Wharf. He did not need medical attention.
The clash happened after Mr Swift and the pop megastar disembarked from a yacht on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the singer did not address the assault claim, but local media reported that two men were aggressive towards them.
Video released by Australian media shows the singer, hiding under an umbrella, walking along Neutral Bay Wharf with her father and bodyguards at around 02:30 local time (15:30 GMT Monday).
Cameras flash before two voices – said to be a photographer and a security guard – accuse each other of touching the umbrellas. It is unclear whether the footage recorded the incident.
Mr McDonald told the BBC the singer had already gotten into a car when Mr Swift “charged” and hit him.
“I've been doing this for 23 years and I've never been in a situation where someone cut me,” he said, not exaggerating the incident.
A rep for the singer said: “Two men aggressively pushed towards Taylor, grabbed her security guard and threatened to throw a female employee into the water.”
Swift performed the final Australian concert of her hugely popular Eras tour.
“The young man reported the incident and investigations are now underway by officers attached to the North Coast Police Area Command,” New South Wales Police said in a statement.
