Thanksgiving week is here. No pies. No holidays except Saturday.
Six unique games. Sixteen games in total. The Sims and I have each picked a winner.
Last week, Sims overcame three straight disagreements. He went 11-3. 8-6 for me. For the year, I still lead 101-63 to 97-67.
He doesn’t get me against the spread from 7-6-1 to 6-7-1. He has the lead in three games this year.
Below are all the exams for week 12. We didn’t agree on four games.

Packers at Lions (-7.5)
Lions are usually the punching bag at Thanksgiving. This year, they are candlesticks.
Florio: Lions, 31-21.
Sims: Lions 31-20.
Commanders in Cowboys (-11)
I see an explosion. The only thing keeping me from falling asleep during the game is having it happen.
Florio: Cowboys, 42-14.
Sims: Cowboys, 27-20.
49ers (-7) at Seahawks.
Seahawks is the kid who thinks he’s finally figured out how to ride a bike. The next four games will show them otherwise.
Florio: 49ers, 28-17.

Dolphins (-10) at Jets.
The term “Black Friday” refers to the dread felt by retailers’ employees the day after Thanksgiving. It’s fitting that the Jets play the first team to host a Black Friday game.

Saints (-1) at Falcons
The winner takes the inside track for the right to host the Eagles or Cowboys in the wild card round.
Florio: Saints, 24-20.
Sims: Falcons, 20-17.
Steelers (-1) at Bengals.
With Canada sent to Belize, the Pittsburgh offense should be better. (It can’t be bad.)

Jaguars (-1.5) at Texans.
Jax learned a valuable lesson against the 49ers

Buccaneers at Colts (-2.5)
It’s a toss-up game. The winner becomes the most viable competitor.
Florio: Colts, 23-20.
Sims: Buccaneers, 24-20.
Patriots (-3) at Giants.
Super Bowls XLII and XLVI were a long time ago.
Florio: Patriots, 14-10.
Sims: Giants, 16-13.
Panthers (-3.5) at Titans
The Panthers crumble under the weight of David Tepper’s heavy influence.
Florio: Titans, 24-13.
Sims: Titans, 19-17.
Rams (-1) at Cardinals.
After sweeping the Seahawks, the Rams are a potential playoff contender.

Browns (-2.5) at Broncos
The best defense in the NFL has to do enough to score enough points for the offense.

Chiefs in Raiders (-8.5).
The Chiefs need it if they want to avoid going on the road in the playoffs.

Bills (-3.5) at Eagles
Philly’s biggest margin is that they’ve converted first-and-10 to first-and-8.5.

Why are the Ravens only favored by 3.5?
