Nicholas Lloyd Webber, son of the legendary composer, has died at the age of 43

Nicholas Lloyd Webber, the Grammy-nominated musician, composer and eldest son of Andrew Lloyd Webber, died on Saturday in England.

NEW YORK — Nicholas Lloyd Webber, the Grammy-nominated composer, composer and eldest son of Andrew Lloyd Webber, died Saturday in England after a long battle with stomach cancer and pneumonia. He is 43 years old.

“His entire family is together and we are all completely lost,” Weber, 75, said in a statement emailed by a representative. “Thank you for all your thoughts during this difficult time.”

Nicholas died at a hospital in the south-central English city of Basingstoke, his father said. Webber, a popular musical, missed the Broadway opening of his “Bad Cinderella” on Thursday.

Nicholas is best known for his work on BBC One’s Love, Lies and Records, based on the book The Little Prince. He also worked on his father’s 2021 film “Cinderella,” which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

Nicholas Weber’s first wife, Sarah Hugill, was also the mother of his older sister, Imogen. The elder Vaper has four other children.
