Lance Reddick’s widow, Stephanie Reddick, took to social media earlier today to pay tribute to her late actor husband – who died of natural causes on Friday, aged 60 – and all those who loved him.
“Lance was taken from us too soon,” Stephanie said in a message posted on her husband’s Twitter and Instagram accounts. “Thank you for your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the past day. I see your messages and can’t begin to express how grateful I am to receive them.
Stefani, who has been married to Lance since 2011, is a particular nod to fans of the Destiny video games, for which the actor has voiced Aogon Guardian Zavala since 2014. “And a special tribute to Lance to the thousands of Destiny players, thank you,” he wrote. “Lance loved you as much as he loved the game.”
Donations can be made to momcares.org in her hometown of Baltimore, Stephanie Reddick said in closing.
Among notables to comment on the tribute post was Oscar winner Halle Berry, who wrote: “My love and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Lance is one of the most honest people I have ever met. Truly one of a kind! RIP sweet king 👑.”
Known for his role as Continental Hotel concierge Sharon in four John Wick films and the Ana de Armas-led spinoff Ballerina, Lance Reddick was doing press for the fourth and final major chapter in the Keanu Reeves-led action franchise. When the shocking news of his passing came out.

Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film [John Wick: Chapter 4] In his loving memory. We will miss him dearly.
